By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
We provide a platform that connects customers with local tradespeople on the Isle of Man. We are not a party to any contract between users, and we do not employ tradespeople. Contracts for work, pricing, scheduling, materials, and payment for jobs are agreed between the customer and the tradesperson.
To help keep the platform safe and usable, we review certain user-submitted content before or after it is published. This can include job posts, tradesperson profiles, portfolio material, public mini-sites, and similar content.

AI-assisted review is a support tool. It may auto-approve content that appears low-risk, hold content for a second look, or recommend rejection. We may also require manual admin approval in some cases. Outcomes are not guaranteed to be perfect; we may reverse a decision, request changes, or remove content at any time if it breaches these Terms or applicable law.
You must not post content that is unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, spam, or that infringes others’ rights. We may refuse, edit, hide, or remove such content and may restrict your account.
Customers may post jobs and receive quotes without a paid platform subscription. Tradespeople access paid features under a monthly plan (for example Trade, Pro, or Elite). Current prices and features are shown on the site and may change; the price you accept at checkout (or as updated under these Terms) is the price that applies to your subscription period.
Eligible tradespeople may receive a free trial period (length shown at signup or in the dashboard; typically up to 30 days unless we state otherwise). During the trial you may use plan features without starting a PayPal subscription. When the trial ends, access to quoting, opportunities, or other paid features may be limited until you subscribe, unless we choose to grant continued complimentary access.
Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions processed by PayPal. When you subscribe you will be redirected to PayPal to approve the subscription. Your use of PayPal is also subject to PayPal’s own terms and privacy policy.
PayPal may provide consumer protections on eligible transactions under PayPal’s own policies. Those protections, where they apply, relate to the subscription payment made to Interactive Enterprises Limited - not to cash, bank transfer, or other payments you arrange directly with a customer or tradesperson for job work.
Payment for work done is agreed and settled directly between the customer and the tradesperson. oddjobs.im does not hold job funds in escrow, does not take commission on job value, and is not responsible for non-payment, overpayment, or quality of work. You should only pay or accept payment using methods you trust, and keep your own records.
Customers may leave ratings and feedback after jobs. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fake, or otherwise breach these Terms. Ratings are user opinions and do not constitute a guarantee by oddjobs.im.
We encourage customers and tradespeople to communicate directly and fairly to resolve issues. While we are happy to assist where reasonably possible, any contractual dispute about the work must ultimately be resolved between the customer and the tradesperson. We are not a court, insurer, or adjudicator of trade work.
To the fullest extent permitted by Isle of Man law, Interactive Enterprises Limited and oddjobs.im shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, delay, financial loss, injury, or any other issue arising from:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation). The platform is provided “as is” with no warranties of any kind beyond those required by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold Interactive Enterprises Limited harmless from claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the platform, content you submit, or any contract you enter into with another user, except to the extent caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires a different process for material changes to paid services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Isle of Man. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Isle of Man.
